A unique grievance is being resented by the President of South West Somalia Abdiasis Hasaan Mohamed Lafta gareeng who feels that his three regions communities are not receiving their fair portion on both civil and military power sharing, fair distribution of national weaponry and ammunitions as well as the International aids and financial support and projects.
The disagreement between President Hassan Sheikh and Presidnet Abdiasis Hassan worsened when Somali Federal Government signed a defense agreement with Egypt and a division of Egypt’s Special Forces reached Somalia. Rumors saying that these Egyptian especial forces will be deployed at Somalia Ethiopia borders went viral. Then, on August 30, 2024 some people from Gedo region, Bakool region and Hiiran region started complaining about a possible proxy war between Egypt and Ethiopia by saying We want Ethiopia not Egypt and fearing to become a battle ground. However, only the Bakool region’s people have been targeted and badly denigrated by some individuals of Mps, Elders, and Civil servants sections of President Hassan’s clan.
